A significant video linked conference was held with all Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of District Education Authorities (DEAs) across Punjab, under the esteemed chairmanship of the Secretary of Schools. The meeting aimed to review the progress of various initiatives and programs being implemented by the School Education Department (SED), as well as to assess the tasks assigned to the CEOs.
During the session, the CEO of Attock requested permission to organize winter camps for high school classes. However, the worthy Secretary of Schools declined the proposal, emphasizing that winter vacations are meant to provide students and teachers with a period of rest and rejuvenation. He highlighted the importance of allowing teachers and students to return to school with renewed energy and enthusiasm. Consequently, it was decided that winter camps would commence only after the schools reopen, ensuring that students have ample time to refresh before engaging in additional academic activities.
