Is there any fee in Government Schools? Top
No, at all, fee will not be charged at any class level, only Faroog-e-Taleem Fund is being taken from students.  
   
Who is responsible to provide books to enrolled students in schools? Top
Principal/Head of school is totally responsible to provide the books to every student of school.  
   
When admissions are opened in all classes? Top
Admissions are opened as per academic calender starting from 1st April of every year.  
   
Can a student get admission in class 6 or 9th without passing the PEC exams? Top
PEC examination is mandatory.  
   
Can a student get admission in the 10th class? Top
Yes. A student can get admission in 10th class on obtaining NOC from previous school.  
   
What is the age limit to admit the child in Kachi Class? Top
A child having 4 years of age can get admission in school.   
   
Is it compulsory to study science subjects in secondary class? Top
No. Students have options to select any area out of three i.e. science, arts and computer studies.  
   
Is there any option to select Urdu medium in all classes? Top
Yes. Students have option to select any one of the two mediums of instructions i.e. English or Urdu.  
   
What is the criteria for Secondary Level Scholarships? Top
The students must have:
  • Secured admission in a regular educational institution as a full time student in the current academic year (2013 - 2014)
  • Declaration of monthly income of parents (all sources) equal to or less than Rs. 15,000/-
  • For Special Quota Scholarships, the student must fall in at least one of the S.Q categories
  • Not availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year
  
   
What is the procedure to get school leaving certificate for a student? Top
After submission of the application, the head of institution will issue the school leaving certificate as per record.  
   
What are the dues to get school leaving certificate? Top
No dues have been prescribed for obtaining school leaving certificate.
  
   
What is the procedure for private school registration? Top
The concerned management of the private school shall approach the EDO (Edu) office and secure registration upon fulfillment of criteria meant for Primary, Middle, Secondary level.  
   
How can I apply for Govt. School Teacher? Top
Candidates can apply when posts are advertised by the department.  
   
Is it compulsory to qualify NTS exams for recruitment of educators? Top
Yes. Applicants have to qualify at least 50% marks in the NTS exams and recruitment will be done purely on merit.
